what do you think?

i stayed up with my roommate to download them cuz i am a nerd...

tombstone (hang em high): OMG! totally awesome! it's still 100% hang 'em high, despite the really cool overhaul of the look and feel. the little added room from the blown out wall is cool, and they still left some of the ramp of doom intact! can't way to play this online.

desolation (derelict): OMG! totally different! the closed in, dark feel that made derelict so great for CTF matches is gone. the flag is now on top rather than below, and there are 2 over shields... not too happy with this one. i love the look of the level, but it's going to play dramatically different than it's halo counterpart!

really? they made hang em high better? glad to here.

I'm one of those guys who can't download maps because I didn't use a premium account n my Xbox1. therefore I can't download Xbox 1 stuff or change my account to premium from my 360.

so until microsoft fixes this (their support page says they're working on it) I'm without the best remake of the century. and I'll miss the rush of real halo players getting on. I'll be playing with the button comboers and cheaters I guess.

Downloaded them at 6:45 this morning before I left for school. Hang em High is tight. Well, Tombstone. I wish I had cool parents, but no. I have to clean my entire room, top to bottom, front to back before I can get on. It is so retarded.

I haven't really got a chance to play them much though, I've really only previewed them. I still have yet to play the maps with other people.

Oddball on Tombstone owns my freaking socks! It still feels really "hang em high'ish" which is great! Desolation is ok, but it kinda reminds me of Warlock and I hate Warlock. I kinda prefered how derelict was onboard a spaceship. I played a 2v2 CTF game on it with Preacher Pain and it was pretty fun though.

The graphics in them arent as good as all the other Halo 2 maps. Something about the detail in the distance just looks really rough. Still, Im gonna vote "awesome" because theyre fresh, fun to play on and they only cost 2.

Yeah so if they cost $4 that's still too much for maps to a game I never play.
