So if anyone's seen the movie Se7en they'll recognize this scene. It was a big inspiration for this piece. It's not supposed to be a replication btw, it's just the same basic idea. I used the sketchy style to add that dark and depressing feeling that the movie carries throughout. The blood is for the same effect, and not all that blood is his, some is his victims'. Comments would be appreciated.

BTW The title is referring to the guy with the gun, who could be viewed as the inmate's executioner for having the gun to his head or his Savior for ending the mental and emotional torment he goes through for having killed so many innocent people.

Just to clear some things up, he's in handcuffs. He has a bag over his head. The blood looks kind of fuzzy because the pen I used is super-fine and my scanner doesn't pick up the detail. The number stitched on his shirt patch is the number 7. The blood soaking the mask and seeping down into his clothing is his from the abuse the suit guy gave him. The blood on his hands is that of someone else. In reality the blood on his hands might not be there, but I put it in to show his guilt. He isn't getting shot, the gun is just against his head. The suit guy is hunched over, making him look shorter.

This entire thing seems a little disproportionate. For example, I know he's hunched over, but he still seems way too short in comparison to the guy on his knees. Also, the guy on the left's right hand is really small compared to his other hand.

EDIT: Allow me to be a bit more specific. I get that he's hunched over, but it's ridiculous that, when hunched over, he's the same height as a man on his knees. It's not so much a problem with the guy on the left as it is with the guy on the right's torso being way too long.

Aw shucks. Yeah, I knew when I drew up the sketch someone would be bitching about his stature. I even redid the whole thing and ended up making it look worse, so I went with this. I really don't think it matters anyways. I like it and everyone else likes it too. You're the only one who's given any negative feedback so far, so I'm not even going to take into account what you said.

No seriously I have to agree entirley with RayZR on this one. Though I can see clearly whats going on and what you're trying to get at, it all does seem to be very out of proportion as RayZR explained.

It's a good thing in this picture's case. It adds to the chaos of the whole scene.

The ending of that movie pissed me off. I'd have just shot his knees, his right hand, and his balls, and left him there. Bullets to the head don't anyone their lesson. Unrecoverable (and un-fatal) injuries do.
