Whether there are socio-political metaphors here or not, I'll leave that up to you. But I made this simply as an image to include in a quarterly publication at my college. The magazine is notorious for being quite left-winged (I'm generally not), but I was encouraged to submit this for the newest issue, as my political cartooning is quite well-known around campus.

It was either grenades or McDonald's logos... I kinda like this one better

Took about 2 hours of work. Critiques only please, no opinions on America-gonna-save-the-mutha-f***in-day-yeah and such. I'm not posting this to start an argument. Just please comment only on the artistic qualities themselves.

I think it'd be better if the grenades were like the guns and had no shading. Just pure white.

I'm with Bobik on this one, flat colour on all of the images will look sweet. Pretty cool design though.

Personally I think the red stripes are a little too far apart. Great job, though!

I agree about the grenades - since they all have the same shading effect it's obvious that they're tiled. A sweeping effect from left to right with the shading changing as it progresses might've looked better, or something like that. In fact, the same could go for the guns. They might look better if each row was laid out in a random order, rather than the one row tiled down the image.

Actually, now that I see it, the shading on the grenade is partially caused by the pin being visible, rather than it being a straight up silhouette.

ALSO WHAT THE -blam!- IS THIS COMMUNIST -blam!-
