I lost alot of rep because I went through a peroid where Virgin Media (Worst ISP ever) royally -blam!-ed my connection. For some reason, I insisted on trying to play through the lag. Thanks to that, my Lone Wolves rank is pretty much frozen. I also can't swing a hammer for -blam!-, since I'm used to swinging it in a latency storm (That's a good analogy). Of course, I've also got plenty of bad language reports, since I use them naughty words so often.

I lost some rep due to bad connection, too. Back when I started playing with a Wireless Adapter, my router sucked so I'd lose connection sometimes and get quitting feedback. I think I've got some under "Aggression" too.

I acutally just wrote a rant on this in my liejournal... This should really be a top 10

9. Getting stuck on team F*CKTARD, seriously, it's like being back in middle school gym class when you get stuck on the team full of all the people who don't know how to play or don't want to play.

4. The prepubescent gangstah kids who shout obscenities in squeaky, Alvin and the Chipmunks voices. (Research idicates that it's cool in middle school to brag about playing Halo on your brother's, father's, or uncle's-baby-daddy's XBox, extra kudos for each racial slur)
3. When my team plays the "neutral" objective games, and procedes to only camp our base, even when we get our hands on the objective. then tell me that I "dont kno how 2 play t3h game, nub!" when I b!tch at them about it. (see numer 9.)
2. When half or all of my team up and quits on me. (See number 9.)
Following that, and most importantly.
1. When my team quits on me and the entire opposing team procedes to spawn camp, and them hump me after every kill like it's a big f*cking acomplishment.

The only time someone got pissy at me was the first time I played Call of Duty 4 online on Free-For-All, and almost everyone was lagging terribly but me. So as I'm picking them off with little resistance, one particularly hapless victim yells "STOP WHORING THE M16!" That same guy sends me a message saying "fvck you" and gives me an "Unsporting" mark. I mean, yeah, lag sucks, but come on, was I supposed to feel sorry for you and just not play?

ANYWAY

5. People who sit in corners with the shotgun the entire game, then after they shoot you they teabag and beat your corpse like they're so skilled.
4. Overcompetitive asshats who quit the game the moment the other team gets a few points ahead because he doesn't want to drop in rank.
3. Getting paired with the apparent worst players on Halo 3 EVERY TIME I go into Team Slayer.
2. When your entire team just hangs back and snipes.
1. Suffering a crushing defeat in any gametype. D:

Having just played a round of team Melee I have to add that I hate people who act as though it was a herculanean task to defeat you, making them possibly the greatest man alive, when they only took you down because you were outnumbered 3 to 1.

Wait a second here, I know many people on XBL care wholeheartedly about their rep (re: I don't know u, u don't know me, but give me reps and ill rep you) but when did people on this forum start caring about rep?

As for the whole matchmaking piss-offs:
I dislike people who go into the MLG playlist while in private chat. One of the main aspects of the MLG playlist is communication and teamwork, but apparently some people just don't care.
Also, when in a flag or bomb game, when you go down a point early on and people are just like "f this, I quit".
I don't really care much about the 13 year olds who swear cuz they think they are cool, I think most people make too big of a deal over this issue. There is a reason the mute option was added.
Lastly, it pisses me off when I go into a team slayer match with someone else who is good, yet you get paired with another couple of people that are complete shite. It's not that I'll b!tch or anything, it just gets annoying when you post 20+ kills in a first to 50 game and still lose because you've got a teammate going -15.

Other than that, matchmaking is awesome.

I don't really care about rep, I just wanted to tell that story because "STOP WHORING THE M16!" was hilarious.

me and my friend were playin doubles and i needed 2 more kills for a perfection against some guys that kinda sucked... and the two leave..
i got really really pissed.

agreed...along with that theres the team killers,
people who leave their mics on with a bunch of noise in the background or something
and of course people who get like 5 kills on your team making you lose my like 2...
