What it be?
This is a themed Halo 3 screenshot contest. It will consist of 4 different rounds, in 4 consecutive weeks, with 4 different round winners, chosen by the staff panel of judges. At the end, a grand prize winner will be chosen out of the 4 round winners.

The themes for each round/week can be found below the rules, along with the deadlines for each one. ONLY ONE SCREENSHOT ENTRY PER MEMBER, PER ROUND. Although members will be able to rate the images in the gallery, this will not effect the final outcome of the round. (i.e. Just because a picture wins the popular vote doesn't mean it will win that round.)

What I win?
Winner of each individual round: 1600 MS Points (will message winners with redemption code)
Grand Prize winner: Xbox 360 game of your choice + an original Halo Babies tshirt... but I only have XL... so yeah.

How I do?
Step 1. Take a screenshot in Halo 3 that relates to that week's theme. You can do it alone, or with friends (but only one of you gets the prize!)
Step 2. Go to your fileshare on Bungie.net, and download your screenshot to your computer.
Step 3. Go to our Art Gallery and upload your screenshot to the appropriate Album. ONLY upload your picture to whatever round it pertains to. If you upload it anywhere else (like to the "Happy Halodays" album), it will not count. For dumb people, here's a picture of how to do this:



Rules:
- Contest is open to all members of HBN, new and old.
- Only ONE entry per member, per round.
- Round winners cannot make any more entries in the contest.
- Screenshots must be created in Halo 3.
- YOU MUST PROVIDE A LINK TO THE SCREENSHOT FROM YOUR BUNGIE.NET FILESHARE IN THE DESCRIPTION OF YOUR SUBMISSION. (If you do not do this, your entry will be disqualified. NO EXCEPTIONS.)
- The screenshot must pertain in some way to the theme of the round it's being submitted for. Feel free to provide an exclamation in the description if you feel it's needed.

If we were to hypothetically win (lol imma loose D:) a round, could we submit pics to the next one just for aesthetics as opposed to prizes?
Absolutely, just be sure to put in the description that you're submitting for fun, so you don't get flamed.

Awesomesauce, what do we do with extra submissions or early submissions to rounds?
I forgot to ask last night.

Be sure to specify the time zone for the closing date. People will be trying to enter at the last minute only to find that it expired hours before, otherwise.

Not sure what you mean by extra submissions. There's only one submission per member, per round. So there shouldn't be extras. And there aren't any early submissions either. Anyone can submit to any of the rounds. That's why I only posted a "submit-by" date rather than a start date.

I prolly won't be entering in any of these.. seeing as Nthro is the one usually on the box and well.. I'm a chronic procrastinator.. but I look forward to seeing what everyone else does with it

What I meant was that what happens when a member posts more than one entry because they obviously didn't read the rules properly, it's bound to happen you know.

We'll use the first one. That's not necessarily a rule I need to put up though. If people are too dumb to read the rules, they're lucky we use any haha.
